Accessibility

PHOTOPHILCRO Inc.

Our Commitment

We want everyone to be able to browse the collection, read about the work, and buy a print without obstruction. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a box that gets ticked once.

What We Have Done

  • Descriptive alternative text on images, so screen reader users know what each photograph shows
  • Text and background colours chosen to meet contrast requirements
  • Full keyboard navigation, including menus, the cart and checkout
  • Headings structured in order, so assistive technology can move through a page logically
  • Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and desktops, and that hold up when text is enlarged
  • Form fields with visible labels rather than placeholder text alone

Known Limitations

Parts of the checkout are provided by Shopify and are not fully within our control. Where we find an accessibility problem in those areas, we raise it with Shopify directly.

Tell Us If Something Does Not Work

If you run into a barrier anywhere on this site, we want to hear about it. Email art@philcrozier.com and describe what you were trying to do and what happened. We aim to respond within a few days.

If you would like to purchase a print and the site is preventing you from doing so, contact us and we will complete the order with you directly.

Ongoing Work

We review the site as it changes and as new work is added. This page will be updated as improvements are made.
